Timeframe recommends the ActiveWedge™ Compact Magnetic Card Reader with Active keyboards management. It is implemented within Punta Hunta to ease the registration process.

It was chosen for it’s seamless integration and ease-of-use for any reception or cash desk environment. It enables the easy registration of a member with minimal use of the keyboard. Simply swipe the member card through the unit and all registration details for that member are displayed enabling the reception staff to quickly identify, verify and admit the member without having to queue.

ActiveWedge™ from Keyboards Access keyboards is a compact magnetic stripe card reader, which is configured for keyboard wedge connection. Active keyboard management prevents any problems often encountered with other card readers due to contention with the keyboard.

ActiveWedge™ is user configurable with a simple software utility. When configuring large batches, the configuration process can be speeded up using a simple cloning process. Alternatively, units can be supplied pre-configured as required. The unit is field-upgradeable using software download, so users can be confident that their purchase is future-proofed.
